- 1). Open your file in Movie Maker. If you don't see your file, click on "All Files," and that should reveal the file of the movie you want to send.
- 2). Click on "Tasks" on the panel, and then click on "Send in e-mail." This will open the "Save Movie Wizard." Once the wizard is open, it begins to convert the movie file into a low-resolution file of the movie. This new file can then be sent as an attachment in an e-mail.
- 3). Click on "Next," and your default email program will automatically open. Once you are there, you can put the address of the person that you wish to send the movie to, as well as include a subject for the message. There is also a form to send an e-mail message with the movie file, so that you can tell others about the file.
- 4). Click on "Tools" on the taskbar and click on "Options." This will allow you to give your file size a maximum size, in the event that the e-mail program won't allow a large media file to be transmitted. Once in the Options arena, click on "Advanced," and under the section labeled "E-mail," there is an area where you can determine the maximum size for sending the movie as an attachment.
