Affiliate Marketing - Do You Need a Coach? - 6 Tips to Help You Make a Decision
Affiliate marketing can be the answer.
As an affiliate, you "pre-sell" a merchant's product.
If the customer you send to that merchant's sales page makes a purchase, you make a commission.
The question is - how do you begin? Learning the basics from a coach or coaching club can give you the foundation you need to get started.
A coach can also teach you where to find the resources you will need.
However, there is one thing I must warn you about.
Be careful of so-called "schools" that ask for thousands of dollars up front to join.
Getting caught in one of these scams has happened to hundreds of people.
It can start quite innocently.
You enter your name or phone number at their internet site or you answer an ad you saw on T.
V.
A salesperson calls you, getting you to explain your life situation.
They are very sympathetic to your financial woes.
Finally, the question is asked.
"Wouldn't you like to make thousands of dollars a week?" The moment you answer "yes," the up-sell tactics begin.
Before you know it, you could be out thousands and thousands of dollars, agreeing to add-ons that you know nothing about.
Upwards of $15,000.
00 is not an unusual sales price.
You must be careful! Please note that there are many legitimate and reputable people and businesses out there.
Just do your homework.
Study the courses and information carefully and you will be O.

Here are some tips to help you choose an affiliate marketing coach or coaching club.
1.
Most important! There must be a money back guarantee! This will give you 30 or 60 days to actually see the content and try it out.
If you want your money back, where to contact the coach should be clearly stated.
There should be no hassle.
2.
Make sure that you see what is offered.
You should be able to either read about the course or watch sample online videos.
3.
This is a must! Make sure there is email and phone support.
Ask if there is a limit on how many times you can ask questions.
Be wary of courses that have no support or contact information.
4.
You should not have to give a huge up-front payment to join.
Do not sign long term contracts.
Make sure your initial payment is only for the first month and that each subsequent payment will be charged by the month.
You should be able to stop whenever you want without penalty.
5.
Check out the content.
Is it up to date? The internet changes so quickly.
Some schools use pre-packaged lessons that are years old.
Websites that they use in their teachings may no longer exist.
6.
Can you work at your own pace or do you have to keep up with a class? Make sure that the content is always available so that you can keep going back to refer to it.
Never be ashamed to ask for help.
Having a coach or mentor who takes you step-by-step through the basics will turn affiliate marketing into a profitable online business that you can enjoy!
