- 1). Log in to your deviantART account. Find a picture you want to comment on and click the "Add A Comment" field.
- 2). Type your message then click the "Emoticons" link under the text field.
- 3). Find an emoticon in the list by scrolling down or clicking the "Sort" links at the top of the list.
- 4). Copy the code on the left that corresponds with the emoticon on the right. Paste the code into the comment box.
- 5). Click the "Preview" button to see what your comment looks like or click "Add Comment" to add your comment to the list.
