Programs of Study

• Healing Spirits massage training is primarily focused on developing an understanding of massage therapy as both a science and art. According to the vision statement located on the HealingSpirits.net website, the program is a small, person-oriented institution that fosters creativity and self-awareness. Their two programs are intended to be flexible as well as comprehensive. The courses offered include everything from reflexology and anatomy to business skills and a required practicum. Featured foundational courses are anatomy, physiology, massage therapy, the art of touch, and foundation massage, which gives students the basics of the movements and techniques used by certified massage therapists.
  
  

Application Process

• Healing Spirits Massage Training Program's admission requirements are as follows: Applicants must be emotionally stable and nineteen years of age or older, must have completed a high school diploma or the equivalent, and must complete the program's application form and pay the interview fee (another component of admission is the successful completion of an interview with a member of the program's faculty). The application form requires identifying information as well as an essay on the reason(s) you wish to become a massage therapist, your reason(s) for applying to the program, and the types of support you'll have available during your training.
  
  

Graduation

• To graduate from the Healing Spirits Massage Therapy training program, you must pass all your classes, complete the required practicum (giving therapeutic practice massages), complete the community outreach requirement, and pay all tuition, dues and fees.
