Having harsh overhead lights is not good for any child especially those in the upper bunk.
Each child may wish to read and thus their own light which is soft and yet able to shine just for them is ideal.
You can attach small lights to the side or head of unit.
You can buy clip-on lights for just that purpose.
You will need power of course so having a plug on the wall beside the bunk beds is ideal.
Keep any power lead against the wall and not in a position where it can snag a person or thing.
Bunk beds are great in themselves but by adding a few simple and inexpensive accessories, you will make the hours spent in their bed by your children, a time to treasure and enjoy.
