The Causes Of High Uric Acid Levels Leading To Gout

102 1
High uric acid levels can form crystals in your joints that cause gout. Once you know the causes of high uric acid levels you can eliminate gout naturally.

GOUT CAUSES

Gout is caused by uric acid crystals that lodge in your joints and surrounding tissue. The symptoms of gout are actually caused by your body's natural inflammatory response to these. It's this that gives rise to the redness, swelling, stiffness, heat, inflammation, and, excruciating pain of a gout attack.

The most common joint affected by far is the big toe, but gout can appear in almost any joint. The ankle, knee, hand and elbow are also regular targets for crystals and gout attacks.

CAUSES OF HIGH URIC ACID LEVELS

Crystals normally form when there are high uric acid levels in your blood. This can arise when your kidneys don't process and flush enough acid out of your body.

Two reasons for this are that your kidneys aren't working to 100%, or, your body is producing too much acid for your kidneys to handle as normal. Either way, excess acid is retained for longer in the blood leading to high acid levels.

So you could say that the causes of high uric acid levels are that your kidneys aren't excreting enough uric acid fast enough, or, your body is producing too much (see Diet for Gout below).

THE NEED TO REDUCE HIGH URIC ACID LEVELS

Therefore a gout sufferer needs to reduce their acid levels. Not only to help relieve the symptoms of a gout attack, but to keep the acid down at healthier levels, in order to prevent recurring gout attacks.

These can lead to permanently damaged joints and even kidney problems, such as agonizing kidney stones and more. And once having suffered a gout attack you're very likely indeed to suffer more.

MAINSTREAM GOUT TREATMENT

Mainstream gout treatment utilises drugs to reduce inflammation and relieve pain, and, others to reduce high uric acid levels and maintain them there, to prevent further attacks. But these drugs have several quite nasty side effects that can put people off. Things like nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, ulcers, bleeding and skin allergies, etc. That's why so many more gout sufferers are turning to natural home remedies for gout, both to relieve gout symptoms, and, prevent recurring gout...

NATURAL REMEDIES FOR GOUT

Typical of the natural remedies to reduce inflammation and relieve the symptoms of gout are; cherries, bilberry, celery seeds, and natural supplements like bromelain, etc. But there are many, many more. And to help reduce high uric acid levels there are things like vitamin C supplements, alfalfa, devil's claw, and of course, your diet. And again there are many more.

DIET FOR GOUT

But one of the most important things to help reduce high uric acid levels is diet. Since uric acid is produced by natural compounds called 'purines' in our body cells and foods, it makes sense to change to a low purine diet if you suffer from gout.

High purine foods to be avoided fall within the red meat, organ meat, seafood, poultry and legume food categories. Within these groupings individual foods have varying levels of purines, so you have to know which to avoid and which you can eat.

You're in luck though. There's a special gout report available online that has all the information you need in one place. It is what thousands of ex-gout victims worldwide have successfully used to prevent their gout returning.

It also contains a special 2 hour gout pain relief program. And it uses fully-researched, totally natural methods. So that you benefit two ways: (1) you get rid of your excruciating pain very fast, and, (2) you prevent your gout returning, so that you reduce the risk of permanent damage.
