Singapore Airline Introduces Kids-free Zone: Say Goodbye To Howling Babies
Besides, if you are planning to give yourself a sweet little sleep, then these monsters will cry hoarse and become your real-life nightmares.
So, the Scoot airline which basically runs its services from Singapore to Sydney and to Australia's Gold Coast has done us a great service by allotting a section of the airline as a kid-free 'quiet' zone. The airline has made all the rows from 21-25 a kid-free area. It means that those rows cannot be booked for passengers who are aged under 12.
The CEO Campbell Wilson, in his official announcement, offered his support to parents who have babies and assured them warmly that their babies still have the rest of the aircraft for making all those explosive tantrums and whining which they are entitled to make.
Frankly it is a win-win situation for everyone. For those baby-free people like me, this option is a great boon since I do need my moment of solitude when I am flying. Of course, for the facility, one would need to upgrade with an extra $14 (that is the price you have to pay to get a seat in the 41-seater ScootInSilence cabin), but those who prioritize silent traveling won't mind shelling out some extra dollars.
Besides, the parents of babies can finally spare themselves some embarrassment since they often feel upset when their babies begin to cry at the top of the voice during the most inopportune moments. And for the babies, now they can finally cry and scream without every third passenger throwing a silent curse at it.
Singapore, by the way, is an excellent destination for tourists. There are some exciting places to visit in Singapore. They are all neat and sophisticated and only go on to highlight the efficacy of the local administration.
