How to Import a DVD Into my Zune

    Ripping the DVD

    • 1). Download DVD Decrypter from Dvddecrypter.org.uk onto your desktop and follow the on-screen installation instructions until the program installation is complete.

    • 2). Open DVD Decrypter by double-clicking the icon on your desktop. Insert the DVD you wish to copy into your DVD drive.

    • 3). Click "Mode" in the menu bar and choose "IFO."

    • 4). Click "Tools" in the menu bar and choose "Settings."

    • 5). Click on the "IFO Mode" tab, and next to "File Splitting," choose "None." Click "OK."

    • 6). Go to the "Stream Processing" tab in the right panel of the main window. Choose "Enable Stream Processing."

    • 7). Click on the first video in the list below "Enable Stream Processing."

    • 8). Press the "Decrypt" button in the bottom left corner of the window, and then wait for the movie to be copied onto your hard drive.

    Converting the Movie to Zune Format

    • 1). Download the Videora Zune converter from Videora.com and follow the instructions on your screen to install Videora on your desktop.

    • 2). Open the Videora video converter for Zune by double-clicking on the Videora icon once installation is complete.

    • 3). Click the "Convert" button in the top menu bar.

    • 4). Click on the "Video File" tab and click on "Normal Mode" in the main window.

    • 5). Click "Select File" and choose the video file you copied to your hard drive using DVD Decrypter. This video file should have a .vob file extension.

    • 6). Click "Browse" to select a location to save your converted file.

    • 7). Click "Next" and enter a title for your final video. Click "Next."

    • 8). Enter the following settings for your video:
      Format: New
      Video Size: Device
      Video Quality: Medium
      Enhance Quality: Off
      Audio Quality: High

    • 9). Click "Next" once the above information is filled in.

      Press "Start Converting." Your video will be finished in about the same amount of time it would take to play through your video once.
