    AFAS General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program

    • The Air Force Aid Society offers scholarship money to the dependents of Air Force veterans through the General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program. These grants are awarded in the amount of $2,000. To be eligible, an applicant must be a high school graduate, enrolled or planning to enroll in college on a full-time basis, and must have a grade point average of at least 2.0. The General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant Program will not fund graduate study. The annual deadline for application is March 11.

    Air Force Sergeants Association Scholarships

    • The Air Force Sergeants Association offers several college scholarships to the dependent children of Air Force veterans, ranging in value from $500 to $3,000. AFSA scholarships are not awarded on the basis of financial need; rather, these are merit scholarships awarded on the basis of academic achievement, writing ability and strength of character. Funds received through the AFSA scholarship program may be used for any costs associated with education, including room and board and transportation. The annual deadline for application is March 31.

    U.S. Air Force Academy Graduate Dependent Scholarship

    • The U.S. Air Force Academy offers financial assistance to the children of Air Force veterans through its Graduate Dependent Scholarship program. These scholarships are awarded in amounts ranging from $500 to $2,000. To be eligible, a student must be the natural or legally adopted child of a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be enrolled on a full-time basis in a program of study at the undergraduate level. The annual deadline for application is March 1.

    Air Force Association 4-Year Online Degree Program Scholarship

    • The Air Force Association offers a full-tuition 4-Year Online Degree Program Scholarship for study at Grantham University to the children of Air Force veterans. This award is valued at $36,000, and also pays for a recipient's books and software. To be eligible, an applicant must be the child of an AFA member, and must hold a high school diploma or GED. A recipient must also meet the minimum requirements for admission to Grantham University. The annual deadline for application is June 15.
