How to Build a Simple Solar Panel Charging Circuit

    • 1). Wrap the positive terminal of one supercapacitor around the negative lead of the other.

    • 2). Wrap the positive (red) lead from the solar panel around the free positive lead from the supercapacitors and solder them together.

    • 3). Wrap the negative (black) lead from the solar panel around the free negative lead from the supercapacitors and solder them securely.

    • 4). Place the circuit in bright sunlight, and allow between 30 seconds and full minute for the solar panel to charge your supercapacitors. Test the output with the multimeter both in full sunlight and after you've removed it from the light.
