Razor Cell Phones With Games

Mobile gaming, or gaming on mobile phones, is becoming an increasingly popular past time as both technology, gaming and development of videogames becomes bigger.
World wide events like the World Cyber Games (WCG), which happens every year, have mobile gaming competitions where the winners take home large cash prizes and achieve sportsman status in some parts of the world, like Korea.
The Motorola Razor V3, and its newer cousin the Razor 2 V8 ("Razor" is also spelt "RAZR" for these phones) come with many entertainment options both in the music department and in the gaming department.
Gaming on Razor cell phones can provide hours of entertainment and, best of all, games are not too expensive and are often free at many websites.
With WAP on the Razor V3 and an Opera HTML browser on the new Razor 2, downloading mobile videogames is quick and easy - plus both models support 3D gaming.
What the Razor V3 offers: The Razor V3 range includes preinstalled Java programs, some of them nifty entertainment pieces and others being mobile videogames.
One of the nifty features is PhoneBook3D, a Java application which allows the user to put up to nine phone numbers and picture ID's in cubes.
Each phone number of the contact (home, work, mobile etc.
) take up one side of the cube.
Users can turn the cube using the navigation keys on the phone, which can be quite fun.
Preinstalled mobile games on the Razor V3 are Skipping Stones, Golf and Billiards.
Skipping Stones is very much like Solitaire.
Videogames available on the internet for the Razor V3 are extensive, from simple gaming like Sudoku to sport games like Summer Games, to plenty of 3D videogaming.
The V3 supports the Java 2 Platform Micro Edition (J2ME) which opens up a plethora of available games.
A great deal of the mobile videogames are free, but come with built-in adverts (which is how they can be free).
The Razor 2 Razor 2 cell phones come with less mobile videogames preinstalled but more options for downloading (plus, since the hardware and technology is newer the choices available are a great deal more high-tech).
In technical terms, the Razor 2 supports the following API libraries with Java: 118, 75 (PIM), 75 (File Connection), 135, 139, 172, 184, 185, 205 (WMA 2.
0) and Get URL from Flex API.
The preinstalled videogames that come with Razor 2 cell phones are Football and Sudoku, but there is an extensive list of bigger budget and commercial options available on the net that can be easily downloaded to the phone, such as "CSI: The Mobile Game", "Death Race", The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor".
These use the full 3D capabilities of the phone and also provide plenty of hours of entertainment.
Chuck Norris even makes his appearance on the Razor 2 with "Chuck Norris: Bring on the Pain".
Gaming analysts expect this industry to grow and eventually become a significant player in the gaming market as well as in general pop culture.
Technology only ever goes forward and there is every reason to believe that Razor cell phones with more commercial videogames would become normal as Motorola continues to create phones with the right kind of capabilities.
