In this article I would like to look at the idea of scaling up or growing your online business.
If you want your online business to provide you with a full-time salary you will need to scale it up! Once you have created your first product it is easy to be lulled into a false sense of security in that since you have created your own product then you can sit back and you can have money coming in.
You've got your autoresponder sequence organised and set up so it's all going to happen on autopilot.
Wrong! That is not how it works! If only! You still have to work at it and you still need to be bringing new customers into your business just as the high street retailers do! You need to do the same.
Here are 3 tips on how to scale up your online business.
Step 1 - Testing and Tracking Your Results.
If you don't know what works best and you have no idea of the most effective methods that bring buying customers into your online business then you will never have the time to scale it up let alone anything else! Knowing what works best means that you can put less effort in but get greater results out! Therefore you have more time to bring more customers into your business and more time to create more products which leads nicely on to my second step! Step 2 - Your Product Portfolio.
The more products you have the better as it gives your customers more choice to choose from and it enables you to begin to escalate your pricing structure.
To quickly increase your product portfolio you can combine single products to make bigger more expensive packages or you could change the format of them into something with more value.
This way because you have already done the research which takes up the bulk of your time, you can create a new product much quicker! Always think of how you can leverage your time the best.
Step 3 - Outsourcing.
There will come a point when you just can't do everything yourself.
Determine the things that you do regularly that someone else could do for you and outsource it.
Make sure that you write down all the details of exactly what you want done and the way in which you want it done so that the person implementing it can follow a step by step process.
That was your business model remains consistent and you get the result you want.
So don't be scared of taking the steps to grow your online business.
You can't just sit back you have to consistently take action to see results.
