Get Off the Makeover Train
I still do, but now when she appears, I only listen to her; I cannot bear to look at her because she looks like a freak.
You know the comedienne I am talking about--she appears on TV shows a lot and has made a living talking about her extreme plastic surgery.
However, I bet she is very depressed.
I know because you cannot have your face look like a horror show and feel good about your mistake.
So to those of you who are thinking of plunking down hard earned money for extreme makeovers-DON'T.
Here are the issues with plastic surgery.
1.
Very few so called "expert" plastic surgeons can predictably transform you.
I know because I have a number of clients in the same business and they tell me it is for the most part a trial and error procedure.
E.
g when they Botox you, they estimate how the various nerves will react===nerves that control muscle function.
But quite often they cannot guarantee 100 percent the actual result.
In fact, with many of the freakish divas, who paid thousands of dollars, something went wrong-nerves do not react predictably to artificial stimulants.
2.
It is addictive.
Most procedures are good only for a couple of years.
Then you are back at the plastic surgeon.
This is exactly what they want.
By then your natural immunity is disabled, and result can be horrifying.
3.
There is no substitute to eating right and exercising.
I understand women having breast replacement after mastectomy, but most other procedures are dangerous, experimental and quite unnecessary, even for folks who depend upon their looks for a livelihood.
4, Plastic surgery, contrary to common myth, actually depresses you and decreases your self confidence.
You are always on guard, defensive and develop an insecurity complex.
You also tend to abandon the natural rhythm of your life.
5.
It can affect your metabolism and cause extreme Vitamin E deficiency.
6.
Don't be fooled by the surgeons who say they will transform you so people will not notice you have had artificial lift surgery.
That is bull.
Not only people who regularly see you, but even strangers can tell when an artificial nose job is done on you.
You may become a laughingstock.
So resist the temptation and rely on your natural rhythm of life--good diet, exercise, clean living and high thinking.
People will admire you a whole lot more than seeing you nipped and tucked by artificial procedure.
Good luck.
