How to Make a Wiggle Eye Fingerprint Monster
This is a really simple project and is perfect for kids of all ages. If you are doing this with very little kids then they may need some help making the initial fingerprint. Make sure you use kid-friendly inkpads or if you do not have any to hand, make sure the youngster washes their hands well after they have finished making fingerprints.Materials
Here are the materials you require to make funny wiggle eye fingerprint monsters:- Wiggle eyes - any size will do, however smaller eyes are the most versatile
- Adhesive - either glue or double sided tape
- Rubber stamping ink pads - gather together a range of colors to make different colored monsters
- A black marker pen
- Paper and other basic craft supplies
Instructions
- Using your finger and an ink pad, make a series of fingerprints on a page, leave to dry
- Try placing some wiggly eyes onto the fingerprint images and see how they look, if you like the look then adhere the wiggly eyes into place
- Use a marker pen to draw the rest of the features onto the character, such as arms and legs, and perhaps hair.
- When you have finished, cut the best characters from the page and adhere them to the front of a card blank
