David Arquette and Kristin Davis Join "Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl"

Dec. 6, 2004 - David Arquette and Kristin Davis ("Sex and the City") have signed on to writer/director Robert Rodriguez's upcoming kids movie, "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D."
Arquette and Davis will play the parents of an unpopular kid who has to spend his summer vacation all by himself. He entertains himself by going on an adventure with his two imaginary friends - Shark Boy and Lava Girl.

Davis and Arquette join the cast, which already includes Cayden Boyd, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, and Taylor Dooley.

David Arquette will next be seen in "The Darwin Awards" and Kristen Davis is currently busy working on the remake of Disney's "The Shaggy Dog."
