Le Saloon: My Favorite Montreal Gay Village Haunt
All in all, a great place to spend socializing with friends over sangria and a tartare entree.
Le Saloon: Menu Items
Management calls Le Saloon's style western fusion. I call it standard fare with upscale details. Burgers, pasta, pizza, salads, steaks, brunch and a handful of more exotic dishes are tacked on for flavor. Vegetarian options available.
Le Saloon: Cocktails*
Cocktails are ultimately Le Saloon's specialty and the reason I always want come back. Think champagne mixes for only $10, a half pitcher of strawberry litchee sangria for $15 and martinis for $10, or only $7 if you make it in time for Le Saloon's daily 5-à-7.
Le Saloon: Price Range*
Steak and fries are just under $20, appetizers range from $5 to $18, salads are $11 to $20, and burgers (which all come with salad and fries) range from $14 to $20, with the Princesse Burger a notable exception at $29. It comes with a slab of foie gras and Port jelly. Cocktails are reasonably priced, rarely exceeding $10. Prices are subject to change though, so do check their menu online.
Le Saloon: Dress Code
Casual with a hint of dress to impress.
Le Saloon: Atmosphere/Decor
Gorgeous interior, complete with disco ball. DJs usually mixing things up. Anticipate 130 bpm.
