Is there a best way to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time? Many experts would tell you that you definitely can.
There are three things that you need to remember as you tread along this path, namely - muscle building, diet and exercise.
Muscle Building The only way you can do to build your muscle is to get stronger by doing exercises that will involve several groups of muscles such as squatting, deadlifting, overhead pressing, etc.
Muscle building is associated with losing fat but they are not the same entity.
Diet Your diet should compose of adequate nutrition that builds muscle but lets you lose fat.
* Protein * Saturated fat (good fat) * Vegetables * Fruits * Water * Whole grain food Exercise When you do strength training as described above in order to build muscle, you lose some fat in the process as well.
In order to lose some more fat you can do the following: * Cardio exercises - After your strength training, you can do cardio exercises for 30 minutes for three times in a week with moderate intensity.
The cardio exercise is to let you lose fat and not to exhaust you.
* Reduce calorie intake - If you are taking for example 2000 calories in a day for the first week, try taking in 1500 - 1700 calories per day in the second week.
Make sure that you took base measurement of your weight before you cut down your calorie intake and compare it to the weight you had after the second week.
