You probably have done lots of barbell curls and dumbbell curls and never see any gain.

So what is the secret on building big biceps? The secret is: Do weights that overload your muscle.
Overloading your muscle means, doing smaller sets using heavier weights.
Usually what we do is using not so heavy weight and just pumping our biceps with it.

To make our biceps bigger, we have to use weight that is heavy enough to force it to grow.
If we overload our muscle our body will respond by sending more nutrients and blood to the muscle.
This is because our body thinks we are in danger and to overcome the danger our body will make our muscle stronger and also bigger.
That is the key to build bigger biceps muscle.
So, only doing barbell curls and dumbbell curls for 10 sets will not make your biceps bigger.
