How to Lay Out a Curve on Wood
- 1). Drill holes in the stick centered down the middle, 1 inch apart.
- 2). Place a nail in one end of the stick. Place the point of a pencil through the hole on the other end of the stick.
- 3). Lay a piece of plywood down on the floor. Lay the stick down on top of the plywood. Tap the nail lightly with a hammer to stick it into the plywood.
- 4). Hold the pencil on the other end of the stick with your fingers. Using the nail as a pivot, sweep the stick around on the plywood, letting the pencil draw the curve on the plywood.
- 5). Move the pencil down the stick one hole at a time to make the curve smaller.
