A Review of the Series TriGun
Set on a desert world, where towns are scattered around rare oasis, and terra-forming machines that barely work.
I think the one thing that probably sets TriGun apart from the rest of it's kin, is the main character Vash.
A notoreous gunman, called a cold blooded killer and monster.
Legendary for the carnage that follows him everywhere.
What sets him apart is that, he is actually a pacifist.
The early parts of the series sets up two insurance representatives looking for the legendary Vash.
They have been sent to prevent him from wreaking more havoc and causing their company so many pay outs.
Setting up both the humor and story.
It quickly becomes apparent that the real cause of all the carnage around Vash isn't him, but rather the massive bounty on his head.
Vash is every bit the gunslinger his legend claims, and he has the scars to show for his many encounters.
The problem is that every bounty hunter on the planet is after him, and they tend to shoot first and ask questions later.
The fact that his description is often highly exaggerated does not help.
As the series progresses it becomes more and more obvious that Vash is carrying around a very dark secret.
A mysterious group of outlaws, with a leader from Vash's past starts causing untold misery and it's up to the peace loving Vash to save the world.
A great cast of supporting characters, great action and a plot that takes full advantage of the onion effect are only a few reasons to check out TriGun if you never have.
