- 1). Turn the Toro lawn mower off and let it cool.
- 2). Wipe any excess grass clippings and dirt from the cutting height adjustment lever on the front right wheel, using a rag.
- 3). Turn the wheel height adjustment handle to the front on the lawn mower for a higher cutting height. Adjust the handle to the farthest adjustment toward the front of the lawn mower for a maximum cutting height of 4 1/4 inches.
- 4). Adjust each of the other three wheels in the same manner. Set each wheel at the same height for an even cutting pattern.
