104 1
    • 1). Select a site in your yard for the twisted shrub you want to plant. Most shrubs prefer full to partial sun to grow well. Well-drained soil is also a must for shrubs.

    • 2). Add 3 to 4 inches of compost to the soil and work it into a depth of 2 to 3 feet and a diameter of 6 to 8 feet wide.

    • 3). Dig a hole for the twisted shrub as deep as the root ball and 3 times as wide.

    • 4). Place the shrub into the hole and loosen its roots. Spread the roots out in the hole.

    • 5). Fill the hole with soil and pat the soil down. Water the twisted shrub well for 10 to 15 minutes.
