The Proper Mindset is Key to Build Up Muscle
The first of course, being the mindset that you carry when you are outside of the gym.
This greatly impacts the effectiveness of the lifting that you do while you are inside the gym.
If you are walking around day to day life carrying heavy shoulders, and a low head, you are probably not getting maximum results from the efforts that you are putting in.
How you look at life carries over to how you are looking at working out, lifting weights, and staying healthy.
When I speak of focus, I am directly speaking of each repetiton that you perform.
When you walk into the gym, you have to have your head clear of all your outside distractions.
Each repitition must be calculated, and on purpose.
What I mean, is that you must be thinking about what your internal muscle tissues could be doing through each millisecond of the repetition.
By picturing this in your brain, you are going to squeeze out a better rep, and gain a lot more benefit from the time you get to put into working out.
Attitude plays a huge role in how much muscle you can build.
If you are one of these people who easily allow your road blocks to completely conquer you, you are never going to get the results you are seeking, I promise you.
You see, throughout the time you spend lifting weights, and working to become healthier, you are going to hit plateaus.
Knowing this, and preparing for the fact that you are going to have to get over these plateaus yourself one day will help a lot.
This is where most people jump off of the wagon, but if you go into it with your goals in mind, your head held high, and the proper attitude, you stand a lot better chance to build up more quality lean muscle!
