What you need to do is get several free health insurance quotes so that you can compare them, not just for lowest cost, but also for how much coverage they provide, any exclusions that may be in place, the amount of coverage provided for each individual item, such as hospitalization, long term care, ambulatory care, physicians care, etc.

and make your final decision based on what's going to be best for your family.
