How Far Would You Go For The Person You Love

When I started reading Journey To Terra Incognita by Gerald Shingleton, I was expecting it to be a typical fiction/fantasy novel.
Boy was I surprised.
This is a book that makes a person think outside of the box and of all the things that could be possible.
It starts when the main character starts his college studies after serving in the military.
That first week forever changes his life, he meets and falls in love with a girl, encounters a strange dorm neighbor named Larry and a professor who warns him not to look into his past.
Not heeding the professors warning, he proceeds to dig up information on the professor and opens up a can of worms.
The more he learns about the professor and his mysterious past the more he feels compelled to keep digging.
This attracts the attention of the FBI, CIA and numerous people he is not sure he can trust.
Once the professor learns that Charlie is looking into his past, he decides to take him into his confidence and share with him all that he thinks he needs to know.
All this takes place during the first week of classes, that eventually are put on hold so that Charlie and his two companions can begin a journey to Mexico to find an incredible and historic treasure that the professor convinces Charlie may be the only way to save the love of his life.
This book will hook the reader from chapter one.
It is an entertaining and thought provoking novel.
I think that anyone who decided to read this book will not regret it.
