How to Copy From Microsoft Office Project Into Microsoft Word
- 1). Launch Microsoft Project 2010.
- 2). Create a simple project with two or three lines of information or open an existing file.
- 3). Launch Microsoft Word 2010.
- 4). Create a document that will contain information copied from Project or open an existing document to insert information into.
- 5). Switch to Project. Click the number in the left column to select a row. Click and hold the mouse button down and drag it down multiple numbers to select multiple rows in sequence or click one row and hold down the "CTRL" key on the keyboard while clicking on additional rows to select any combination of rows.
- 6). Point the mouse at the number in the left column of any of the selected rows and right-click. Click "Copy."
- 7). Switch to Word and move the cursor to the location in the Word document where the copied Project information will be located. Right-click the location and click one of the "Paste" options.
