Here are some tips for getting the most out of your day.
Rent an outdoor shelter at a local park and plan for a whole day of games.
Bring frisbees, baseballs, rockets and Nerf footballs and let the birthday kid invite about 20 of their friends and cousins to play.
Far a park birthday, the more the merrier! For decorations, purchase banners and balloons that have a sports theme and string them around the shelter.
For easy food options lunch can be catered from the birthday kids favorite restaurant.
Think barbecue, fast food, hamburgers.
It doesn't have to be pricey.
Just place a to go order and have an adult go pick up the food.
For a birthday cake get creative with the theme.
