- 1). Download the Front Page module. Unzip the folder. Access your website through the FTP client. Enter the log-in information, then navigate to the "sites/all" folder inside the Drupal directory. Upload the Front Page folder to "sites/all/modules," and when the upload completes close the client.
- 2). Open your Drupal home page; scroll down and log in as an administrator. Navigate to the "Modules" option of your administrator panel. Check the box next to Front Page to enable the module. Select "Save configuration."
- 3). Go to "Configuration," then select "Settings" under the Front Page heading. Click the box next to "Front Page Override," then click "Save settings."
- 4). Click on "Front Page for Administrator" then select the mode. The mode will determine how custom your frontpage will be; whether it follows the style sheets and PHP of your theme, or whether it follows the custom rules you create in the field provided.
- 5). Click "Save settings" when you've tailored the administrator front page to your liking. Repeat for unauthenticated and authenticated users.
