Bathrooms can easily become a place where dirty clothes are left on the floor, bath and shower looking grim if people don't clean it after they have used it.
To keep your bathroom in good shape, design your bathroom with thought and consideration.
Think about who is going to be using it.
Do you have young children or teenagers, or maybe an elderly relative? For the elderly extra hands rails are essential as bathrooms can be a hazard and a lot of household accidents do happen in the bathroom.
For children the list could go on and on.
Everyone should know about the dangers with leaving a child in the bath alone, even if a child is left just for a few minutes an accident could happen.

It may be best to set aside some extra money or include an extra amount into the budget as it's quite easy to forget something.
You may come across something that you didn't expect for example you strip off the wall paper or take the tiles off the wall and you find out that the wall needs re- plastering this could add a lot more money to the job you are doing.

If you don't have much money to spare then that's fine you can change the look of your bathroom simply just by adding a few new items or even painting your bathroom can give it the new look you want.
Paint doesn't cost a lot of money and if you do the job yourself then the job is going to cost you even less.
As most bathrooms are quite small or have tiles on the walls you shouldn't have a lot to paint.
You will be amazed at the new look of your bathroom just by changing the colour of your walls.
Go for a completely different colour than what you have will make your bathroom stand out.
Change your hand towels to match the colour of the paint and put a few decorative items in also to match the colour.
These don't have to cost a fortune simply getting a vase and putting a few coloured flowers in to match the colour scheme.
Put some coloured face cloths at the side of your bath.
Get a plastic bottle and fill it with coloured bubble bath this will look great at the side of the bath.
You could also get some coloured soap for the side of the sink.
