So how do I start blogging anyway?  In order to create a profitable blog you need a few key things.
  You will need a domain, dependable hosting service and a blogging platform.
I use and highly recommend Godaddy.
com for domains and Hostgator.
com for a reliable hosting service.
  My blogging platform of choice is Wordpress.

  This software is far superior due to tons of developers adding new plugins and constantly improving upon the functionality.
It's an open source platform giving you the flexibility and control to customize your blog.
However, before I answer the question, "How do I start blogging?", you'll need to choose a theme for your blog.
The goal of creating a blog is to get people's attention.
Let them know what you're good at and passionate about and share it with your audience.
  Consider some of these important questions to help you pick a theme:

• What are you passionate about?
• Who's your target market and what are they looking for?
• What is the purpose of your blog?
• What do you want to achieve with your blog?

Carve out a niche with your blog and uniquely position yourself to stand out in the marketplace.
Now that I've chosen a theme, how do I start blogging? Pick a subject related to your theme to write an article on.
  An article is not a pitch about your business.
  It should be informative with facts and opinions providing value to your readers.
  This is the power of blogging.
  People sharing experiences and truth with other people.
  Blogs are not intended to be bias promotions from a company or business about their own products.
  That's why people trust blogs.
