Texas is the biggest state in the contiguous United States, and is as large as some countries. With so much land, many animals have room to roam rural areas. Hunting is a popular pastime and a tradition for many in Texas. - Resting on 4,596 acres, the Moscow Hunting Club is a family-oriented hunting ground. Located in Corrigan, the land is full of rolling hills, creeks and forest, which makes for healthful deer habitat, which is the club's main game. Does are killed in good quantities, leveling the sex ratio and allowing a large number of older bucks to populate herds. Food plots are used to provide sufficient protein, vitamins and minerals for deer, which results in larger herds. This club also offers year round hog hunting and seasonal squirrel, dove and quail hunting. Membership to the club are acquired through application and last for a year, with renewals costing $1,140, as of June 2010. Membership includes spouse and children up to college age.

dwilder2001@yahoo.com - The Camden Hunting Club is in eastern Texas in Polk and Tyler counties. It is a 17,757 acre plot that maintains a large white tail deer habitat. Membership is limited to 100, which gives each member 175 acres of hunting ground. Hills, creeks, pine forests and hardwood floors are spread throughout the land and two main camping areas have electrical service. In addition to deer, the club also offers duck and hog hunting, as well as fishing, which is done on the properties 54 acre lake. Membership is is accepted through application and a fee of $1,325, as of June 2010, includes spouse and children. Membership lasts from June 1 through May 31 and is annually renewable.

They secure hunting properties in Katy Prairie, Garwood, which is known as the duck capital, El Campo and Matagorda, all in southern Texas. Freshwater marshland, rice, wheat and bean fields, plowed ground and careful land management attract a variety of waterfowl and ensure a healthy hunting experience. The club offers guided hunts with professional hunting guides that use decoys and hunting expertise to draw in a large amount of birds, enhancing the chances of a successful hunt. Guides also give speeches and instruction on safety and shooting. Teal and dove hunts start at $150 per hunter, duck hunts start at $115 and goose hunts start at $175 per hunter, as of June 2010. Hunters can stay in a number of motels and lodges in the area. Membership to this club is $5,500 per group, as of June 2010, with individuals filling in spaces in existing groups for a fee that depends on the number of members in the group.
