104 33
    • 1). Prepare the surface of the new cement deck by ensuring that the concrete is clean and dry. Sweep thoroughly to remove all loose particles.

    • 2). Prepare the surface of an older cement deck by treating stains with liquid dish soap and pressure washing with hot water at 2200 to 3500 PSI with a 0-degree pressure washer nozzle. Rinse thoroughly with a 15-degree pressure washer nozzle. Allow to dry. Sweep to remove any loose particles.

    • 3). Apply selected sealant with a paint brush in all corners and around all obstacles. If using a garden sprayer, protect adjoining fixtures by taping plastic around the base.

    • 4). Apply sealant with a paint roller or garden sprayer until it is uniformly saturated. Start from a wall and work towards an opening so you do not have to walk across the freshly waterproofed cement.

    • 5). Allow to dry according to label directions and then apply a second coat of waterproofing sealant.

    • 6). Allow to dry thoroughly before replacing the furniture or the furniture will adhere to the sealant and may pull the sealant off the concrete when moved.
