How To Plan A Fabulous Bachelorette Party
You decided on the date, time and place. Next is the guest list. It is tradition to that the people that are invited to the bachelorette party as also invited to the wedding. Ask the bride if she prefers an imitate gathering of her closest family and friends or wants a huge bash.
No matter what size the party, it's always a good idea to have a couple of party games or activities planned. The purpose of games at a bachelorette party is not only to have fun, but to create an interactive environment where all guests have a chance to mingle.
This can include something simple as a scavenger hunt or a quiz to see who knows the most about the couple getting married. Both games can be wholesome or as naughty, just depending on what the items are in the scavenger hunt or the questions about the couple. If you have a mixed crowd, such as older relatives as well as the bride's girlfriends, it's probably best to keep the party games on the not so naughty side.
Food is always an important component of any party and a bachelorette party is no exception. If the bachelorette party has a special theme, the food should complement the theme. If not, the menu should be based on the time of day. For example, the menu for a late morning party could be a brunch or lunch buffet, while a nice selection of appetizers would be a good fit for a mid-afternoon party. Lunch time or early afternoon parties are easier on the budget since your guests are not expecting a heavy meal.
When planning, remember to take post-party logistics into consideration. Have to-go containers on hand to divide up leftover food so guests make take it home. Ask a couple of friends to stay a little late and help clean up. With a little help from your friends, bachelorette party planning will be a breeze!
