I have seen so many social media profiles from people who are trying to brand themselves and succeed in this business.
And believe me, I had a good laugh when I saw some of them.
Now I am not saying that the look of your profile is the only thing you need to make progress, but this is the basic 1st step on your journey as network marketer and I insist on that step with all my team members and help them step by step in creating their attractive social media profiles.
If you are spending time on setting up your profiles on the first place, than do it the way you should, do it the way the best marketers do it.
If someone read your valuable content on the internet and go to see your profile, in order to know more about you, don't you think there are big chances he's gonna run away, if he sees an amateur profile, with funny photo, or a photo of some famous actor there? If there are no more than 100 people on a friend list, if there is nothing to read about you as a professional networker? There are so many things you can do to professionalize your social media site, so that the people who visit it,can be attracted even more and decide immediately to do business with you.
You will see on my trainings, that there are many tools and settings you should apply and make your profile attractive and professional.
~ Starting with a profile photo ( you can use many tools to create it with your website address on it, or some appropriate message), ~ you need your main web addresses visible, ~ about me section (where you have to describe who you are, your professional interests, goals, what can you provide for your prospects and again, put your main website address) ~ if that specific social site have an option like Facebook - put a capture form connected directly to your website or autoresponder) ~ personalize your URL for every social site (you don't want your URL to look like - socialmedia.
com/user/568963 - this doesn't look professional at all) ~ create your own group and page and invite as many people with similar interests possible, ~ set up your settings in order to prevent funny and inappropriate applications visible on your wall (you are a serious marketer, you don't want to have profile page covered with game invites, hearts, erotic images) ~ if you had a profile before you've started this business, go and check your photo albums and delete inappropriate photos that can look bad for your professional profile) ~ make your blog posts visible, your blog web address all over the place, ~ make sure to put your video, or at least a link to your video visible.
Now, those are only some of basic settings you need to apply if you want to have really good profile, so you can be sure that anyone who visits you there, can only confirm or even be more assured that you are a person worth doing business with and learning from.
