White iPhone 4: Why Is It Delayed and When Is It Being Released?

Hey Apple, where's all the white iPhone 4's at? The iPhone 4 has been with us since June and originally the white iPhone 4 was meant to be released simultaneously.
Then it was pushed back due to difficulties during its manufacture to 'later in 2010'.
So a lot of loyal Apple customers and those who just thought the white was a cooler look, waited patiently to the end of 2010.
Not to mention the hardcore Apple minimalist fans, trying to complete their white iMAc, MacBook, iPod and iPhone collection So here we are 'later in 2010' and we get this announcement from Trudy Muller at Apple, "We're sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again," without any further explanation on what has caused the delay.
Now, no-one is blaming you Trudy, but at least give us some information on WHY its been delayed.
Don't just keep dangling this glorious white carrot in front of our noses, then pulling it away, or you could lose a lot of potential customers to the new Windows 7 phones and Android handsets.
What's the problem? If rumours are anything to go by, then it looks like there is some problem with 'light leakage' when taking photos on the white iPhone 4 which doesn't occur on the black model.
The light case colour basically lets too much light into photos effectively ruining them and may require a complete design off the whole white handset.
So it looks like we won't see a pearly white iPhone 4 handset until Spring 2011 at the very earliest.
