A motivated individual is eager to seize any opportunity when it presents itself.
You will find it easy to stay motivated if you take it one day at a time.
And if necessary take it one audition at a t time.
And even more necessary, take it one month at a time.
Give yourself a to-do list.
Tasks you want to accomplish in a given month.
Start small and build up.
Your focus is to attain these goals.
An example goal for the month could be that you want to go out on 4 auditions during the month.
That breaks down to one audition for acting each week during the month.
Seems like an achievable goal.
As a struggling actor, you have it within your reach to become a working actor.
That is the ultimate goal.
Whether you want to be in films, television or even on Broadway, you can make that dream a reality.
It just takes staying motivated.
If you are not getting any auditions for acting currently, try a new approach.
Check out the local trade magazines.
They are filled with a wealth of information for the entertainment industry.
The local trade magazines, such as The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, list the films and television series that are currently in production.
You can contact these productions by submitting your resume and head shot to their production offices.
Go ahead and give them a follow-up call to see when they will be accepting auditions for acting.
Even having a talent agent for acting you need to realize that they will not do all the leg work for you.
You must do most of the leg work yourself.
And that includes staying in constant contact with your talent agent for acting.
Let the talent agent know what productions you are finding in the trade magazines.
As well as other possible projects, that you have heard about through other contacts you have made in the industry.
