And anyone who tries to fool the device, on the second sample recording if the IID does not receive the required sample it will start beeping continuously with the lights of your vehicle flashing and the horn will warn you that the vehicle will stop operating in a matter of seconds.
The time limit to install the IID in your vehicle depends on the court's requirement and also this differs with every state. First time DUI offenders have to keep the device for a at least a year and this might be a costly affair too; the installation and maintenance of the device might burn your pocket.
