Sadly too often familiarity Breeds contempt most deadly People disrespected and divided Irritable and miserably moody Taking one another for granted Speaking hastily and most angrily Acting defiantly and boisterously Bulldozing over each other devilishly Disregarding simply loving humanity Self-centered and acting selfishly Brutishly and belligerently rude Cursing, uttering obscenities crude Disdaining morality and those prude Neglecting and bypassing boundaries Improperly interacting and talking Spewing venom and vile bitterness Unwilling to generously believe the best Being a nuisance and being a gross pest Showing no mercy or pity to the comfortless This mentality and mindset many embrace While they themselves do foolishly disgrace Later ashamed to show their own red face Knowing they arrogantly spoke prematurely Voicing their toxic and heartless opinion Over exerting themselves to coerce dominion Familiarity breeds contempt in an instant Treating kings and rulers like mere peasants Becoming too familiar with human weakness Those within close proximity speak blasphemy Acting as if they know a person thoroughly On the contrary, for only God knows inwardly What a man does possess, think, and feel Therefore we should be gracious and real Before we excessively exalt or degrade As all living in flesh and blood shall fade Like the night does turn into glorious day Our failures like we ourselves pass away Therefore we should afford a new beginning Personal growth and ongoing transformation Because people change over time you see Therefore let us be merciful and walk humbly Only then will we truly feel, hope and see One a human being graced by God can fully be Love mankind and let people blossom gently.
