In a sport where a round of golf can cost you $100 or more, golfers are always seeking ways to improve their swing. The iSwing allows users to record their golf swing with its customized high frame-rate video camera.
With enhanced drawing tools, users can draw touch-screen lines to determine their spine angles and make sure they're "on-plane" - a common goal with most golfers. It also allows users to replay their swing frame-by-frame, and in slow motion, a feature not available on the iPhone.
As a virtual reference, it also creates sequence photos like Golf Digest centerfolds that you can share with friends via Facebook Connect. The iSwing sells for $5.99 and is offered globally for all versions of the iPhone, including models without video capability.
"For some, golfing is a hobby. For others it's a lifelong investment...If a user can carry a golf swing analyzer everywhere they go, their margin for improvement grows dramatically...", says Charlie Keum, Creator of the iSwing.
The success iSwing has seen in the US has translated well in Europe, Asia & Australia where golf is also a common past time. And while most of the world plays golf seasonally, Keum believes the surge iSwing has seen this winter can be attributed to the down-time golfers devote to improve their swing while at the practice range.
iSwing debuted its second version this past November and has plans for a 3rd version later this year that they believe will be the next innovation to their already wide-spread creation. While Keuminotti LLC's core competencies are centered on the iPhone platform, they have plans to expand to Android and iPad.
