Hot Tubs Are Still Great In Winter
Firstly let me break the misconception that they are only used on hot days in countries with a great sunshine record.
They are used in many countries all year round particularly in North American ski resorts, when they are probably used more heavily in Winter than they are in Summer.
Indeed it is not at all uncommon to see brave people get in the hot tub outside whilst snow is falling down, only to then get out and roll around in the snow.
I have seen this happen and trust me it is only for the brave! However it just shows that you can still enjoy a spa even in inclement weather, indeed if you live in the UK and worry about the practicalities of using a hot tub in Winter then have you considered buying one with a gazebo cover over it? Hot tub gazebos can extend the use of your spa well in to Winter.
You can buy them fully enclosed with windows that open the whole tub up in Summer, or shut it off airtight in Winter, meaning you can enjoy a dip in your tub even if its snowing or raining heavily.
Also you are far likely to get a better deal on a tub in Winter than summer, as it's a bit like buying a convertible car in Summer, demand is highest then, and it is the same with spas.
This means that you should be able to go in to a store and negotiate a better deal in Winter.
This may mean that you get a discount, or get offered a 6 seater tub for the same price as a 4 seater, or just get some nice accessories thrown in with the deal.
Also there are the health benefits to consider, as if you have muscles and joints that ache in Winter when its cold, then they can really help to loosen your body up and remove aches and pains within minutes.
Contrary to popular belief they are not expensive to run when its cold as most modern tubs are very well insulated, and come with very good covers to keep the heat in even when its well below freezing outside, meaning they are no longer just for Summer use.
