There is a multitude of complex and expensive halitosis treatments and cures available today.
Several include multiple visits to the dentist or the purchase of some expensive product that promises a halitosis cure.
The bad thing is that some people who suffer from halitosis are desperate to control their breath problem.
More than a few are willing to try any bad breath treatment that offer them hope.
Unfortunately there are a lot of scammers as well.
That's why it is so important to be careful.
I know most work for a living and cannot afford expensive cures that don't work very well.
So I have compiled a list of home remedies that will rid you of bad breath fast and easily.
The best part is that you probably have most of the items called for in your home right now.
So your costs are almost nothing.
Let's start right at the root cause of more than 70% of cases of halitosis or bad breath.
Poor oral hygiene is the leading cause of bad breath and loss of teeth is just about every country in the world.
If you take a few more steps and bush the tongue, cheeks, and gums as well as the teeth, it will go a long way towards obtaining your goal of fresh breath.
I'm sure there is a halitosis cure that will work for you.
Fruits and vegetables can play a big part in your success.
Fruits like apples, oranges, and grapefruit are good for you because the acidic nature of these fruits help to kill the bacteria in your mouth.
They also help to maintain a healthy pH balance in your mouth and in turn making an unhealthy environment for the bacteria.
Cranberry juice is also good for you and it will help dissolve the plaque that is on your teeth.
Chewing parsley after a meal has been working for a very long time.
In fact, it works better than a breath mint.
Although the breath mint does have its place as a temporary fix.
In the long run a clean mouth works best.
Chewing mint leaves will also achieve the same results.
The use of mouth wash is highly recommended.
It's important to note that most contain alcohol or some form of soap.
Both of these contribute to drying out your mouth.
Having a dry mouth is the perfect environment for the bacteria and the growth rate of the bacteria can double.
So here is a homemade mouth wash that will work a lot better and not cost very much to make.
Bring to a boil 1 qt.
of fresh water then take the pan off of the heat.
Add a few mint leaves of a few drops of mint extract.
Next add 4 tablespoons of regular baking soda and ster.
Then add a few parsley leaves, and finally add 3 whole cloves.
Leave covered until completely cooled.
Then strain into a container with a lid.
This is necessary to keep it fresh.
Use this mouth wash several times a day.
You can also make great toothpaste.
Just use a level tablespoon of baking soda and a few drops of water to mix the toothpaste.
You can add a drop of mint extract for that cool minty taste.
There are lots more home remedies on my website.
