Aside from getting traffic to your website, you have to know where to place your AdSense advertisements, along with what colors you should use for them.
In this post, I want to discuss with you the colors that will give you the best chance of getting your ads clicked on.
1) Website Background Color: Before we begin, you should know that a good website background color can be the difference between a site that makes money and a site that does not.
When you look at a website, what color do you think the background area of the content section should be? If you have guess white, you are exactly right.
If you've looked at a newspaper, which most of you probably have, you would know that they use a white background and a black text.
Sure, black writing on a white background isn't the prettiest of colors, but it is definitely the easiest to read.
Because of this reason, I want you to first make your site's background color white, and your site's text black.
Once this is done, you're ready to move to the next step.
2) Border: When it comes to a border color, you will want to choose something that matches the background color of your site.
Our goal here is to blend our advertisement into our website.
Hopefully, you've changed your site's background color to white.
3) Title Also Known As Link Color: Ever since the creation of the World Wide Web, link colors have been blue.
The hex code for standard blue is #0000FF.
This color has worked for many AdSense Publishers, and is highly recommended.
4) Background: The background of your AdSense ads should also match the border and the background of your website.
Like I said, white works best, because it's the easiest on people's eyes.
5) Text and URL: Last but not least, a black text and URL color have shown AdSense Publishers some great results.
When it comes down to it, your goal with your AdSense advertisements should be to blend them into your website.
If your website has red links, make your AdSense links red.
If your website has a light gray background color, make your ads also have a light gray border and background color.
