Man-Dog Relationship
Dogs became a part of our lives and keep us company especially when we're down.
The question is when did this relationship start? Some studies record that man-dog relationship started about 30,000 years ago and the first ever transcribed evidence of a working relationship between the two was 14,000 years ago.
There are also reports that indicate that symbiotic relationship between humans and wolves started thousands of years ago.
Symbiotic relationship can be defined as a kind of relationship where both organisms benefit from one another.
This kind of relationship can be seen between man and dog.
One good example is that humans give dogs food while dogs warn humans of impending danger.
Dogs became good followers of men and men decided to breed these animals depending on what they need.
Today, there are many dog breeds and each breed got unique characteristics.
We choose the breed that we want depending on what type suits our lifestyle.
Doggies have different functions.
Some serves as a guard while others are used to hunt mammals.
Dog sheep became a guard for sheep while German shepherds became bomb sniffing dogs because of their special sensory smell.
Lap doggies hunt or catch small animals for their master while there are also "toy dogs" that dog owners join in dog shows.
Heedless of the size and breed of our pet, we should always take good care of them and show them love because these pets can give us full loyalty that some of our friends can't give.
This is a fact that have been proven even a thousand years ago when wolves help men hunt for food and guard them from danger.
