- 1). Open your Windows Control Panel by opening your Windows Start Menu and clicking on "Control Panel."
- 2). Click on "Small Icons" in the "View by:" drop-down menu at the top right of your screen.
- 3). Double-click on the Windows Defender shortcut to launch the program.
- 4). Click on the "Scan" icon to launch a system scan. Windows Defender will now scan your computer and remove all instances of Coolwebsearch on it.
