- 1). Wash your hands.
- 2). Remove your old jewelry from your healed industrial piercing.
- 3). Unscrew one ball from your new barbell counterclockwise and set it aside on a clean surface.
- 4). Insert the end of the barbell into the lower piercing, starting from the outside of your ear, then the upper piercing, starting from the inside of the ear.
- 5). Screw the ball back onto the barbell clockwise, holding the ball in one hand and the bar with the other hand in the gap between the piercings.
