Draw a straight or wavy line across your paper that depicts the water. Add waves to the water by drawing curves throughout the waterline.

    • 3). Lightly draw a rough diamond shape, with most of the shape under the water you have drawn. Erase the water line in the middle of the iceberg.

    • 4). Add detail to the iceberg by drawing curves and shades to create a three dimensional angle; refer to the reference picture for ideas.

    • 5). Draw crevices close to the outer lines of the ice. Shade away from the crevices, making the crevices darker, then fade them to lighter.
