How to Create DVDs That Work Like Powerpoint Presentations
- 1). Create and complete your PowerPoint presentation using the PowerPoint software. It is very important that you double-check all of your slides before finalizing, as you cannot edit them once they have been burned to DVD.
- 2). Enable the Automatic Advance function in PowerPoint. This function will automatically proceed to the next slide after a certain amount of time.To enable this function, select your first slide, click the Animations tab. Check the Automatically After box and type in the time you want each slide to automatically advance after. Make sure you pick a time that will leave you enough time to talk without rushing.
- 3). Download PowerPoint to video conversion software. See the link in the Resource section for some program options. Note: some conversion programs with advanced features require a licensing or subscription fee.
- 4). Import the video into the conversion software and insert a blank DVD-R into your computer's DVD-R drive. Once the conversion has finished, the DVD should begin burning automatically. If not, find the PowerPoint video file (Normally in an Output folder) and then right-click it and select Add to burn list from the menu. Then press the Burn to DVD button on the left side of the Burn List window.
