    • 1). Open Cinema 4D. Select "File" and click "Open." In the dialog box that opens, browse to the location of the file you want to use and open it.

    • 2). Select "File" and click "Export." From the available options choose the 3D format you want. For exporting the model to Poser you need to use a format Poser can handle, such as 3Ds or Lightwave OBJ. In the dialog box that opens, name the file and select the location that you want to save to. Close Cinema 4D.

    • 3). Open Poser. Delete the default figure that automatically loaded in the scene.

    • 4). Select "File," then "Import" and click on the file type that you used in Step 2. In the dialog box that opens, browse to the file you export from Cinema 4D and open it.

    • 5). Use the "Scale" dials in the "Parameter Dials" to make the size of the model that you want.

    • 6). Click on the "Library" tab on the right to open it. Select the "Props" library. Then select a subfolder you would like to save the prop to. Click on the "+" sign at the bottom. In the dialog box, make sure the model is the only thing selected, name the prop and click "OK." The prop is now in your library and can be added to any scene.
