If the eyes are the windows to the soul, then our smile signifies our inner glow. To say the least, a radiant smile emphasizes our mood and feeling. It shows the positivity that fuels us to accept, live and be the person that we have always wanted.

Because our smile plays an important role in our lives, it too is best to have a set of pearly white teeth.
Nonetheless, the connotation of having white teeth cores upon the idea of splurging on oral and dental care. That only the rich can afford to avail of such.

That age-old belief is certainly not true. Money and status in life does not define the color of your teeth. More so, will it ever be about your status.

With the many available home and do-it-yourself remedies, there is no more excuse to be envious of others' teeth and smile.

In reality, commercial whitening kits cost more than a few hundred dollars. Not everyone could splurge and spend that much. Hence, use hydrogen peroxide as a bleaching solution to help you whiten your teeth. What more, this is considered safe and effective by the American Dental Association.

Buy a bottle of 3% solution - safe for oral use. Make sure to store it properly to avoid alteration of composition.

1. Hydrogen Peroxide and Water
If commercial mouthwash stings you and your tongue, then opt for a homemade remedy. Make a half and half solution and gargle as a mouthwash. Swirl it around your mouth until it foams. Spit out the solution and rinse with water.

Do it once every after meal or three times a day and see amazing results at the end of the first day. Not only will you have fresh breath but white teeth as well.

2. Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda
Baking soda is known as a whitening agent and an all-around cleaning agent. Hence, this is a good at home and cheap remedy.

Brush paste solution unto teeth in small, circular motion. Rinse with water. If you feel of any remnants, use your usual toothpaste. An orthodontist Arlington recommends this solution for a total care dental at home.

Baking Soda
As whitening and cleaning agent, baking soda is one of the cheapest remedies to having professional looking white teeth. The fact that it could be bought just about anywhere rids of the misconception that only the rich could afford to have a set of radiantly looking pearly whites.

For a more comfortable dental care regimen, use baking soda as powder toothpaste. Dip your slightly damp toothbrush unto a tray with baking soda and apply generously unto teeth.

If the powder form turns you off then baking soda and a bit of lemon juice as a rubbing solution will help you achieve an orthodontic care specialists like finish.

These are just some of the many ways to keep a healthy and white set of teeth. If unsure, then better consult your dentist or orthodontist for professional advice.
