My eldest cat (of four) vanished one night. Sweetie's age was somewhere between fourteen and seventeen and she had not been in tiptop health for a while. She may have gone to a safe place to die. After three weeks of mourning and hoping for her return, I visited three shelters to find these kittens at the last one. All my cats have been rescues, and when I lose one my inclination is to find another, not as a replacement, but for their happiness and mine.
I would really love to have a Bengal and these two have spotted tummies, so my rationale is that they might have a vague relation.
